This year, we will have a Creative Showcase and Art Contest. The Creative Showcase will require submission through the URCA application. Each Creative Showcase entry will be displayed around the Bryant Conference Center and judged without presentation the day of the event. If research is involved, we encourage a double submission to present a poster the day of the conference, March 31.

The Art contest will be in two categories, URCA Program Cover and OUR t-shirt design. Please click URCA art contest FAQ for more information.

2020 – UA Students Virtually Highlight Research, Creativity for Annual Conference

Nearly 250 undergraduate students at The University of Alabama are highlighting their research and creative projects during the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference.

The 13th annual conference, hosted by UA’s Office for Undergraduate Research and the Office for Research and Economic Development, moved to an online format as the campus transitioned to remote instruction in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Students had an opportunity to submit their research posters and a 3-minute presentation of their research for inclusion in this year’s conference.
